IPL Hair Removal

The number of treatments you may require for optimal long-term benefits depends on the area you wish to have treated, the hair density and your hair’s growth cycle. Your hair grows in cycles and many factors influence it’s growth. Age, ethnicity, weight, hormones, diet, medication and metabolism all play a part in your hair’s location, thickness and resilience.
IPL slows the growing capacity of follicles in the growth cycle at the time of the treatment. Since some hair follicles may enter their growth cycle after your treatment, three or four treatments may be required to deliver optimal results.
Note: Removing hair does not make it grow back thicker, darker or quicker. The opposite is usually the case. IPL treatments may cause hair to come back slower and thinner.

Using the advanced IPL system, our physician gently delivers precise amounts of light energy through your skin’s surface. Treatments are spaced at 3 week intervals. The energy is delivered at specific settings for each treatment to maximize your results.

Today’s new light technology delivers precise dosages of energy to the skin. During your treatment, light energy is gently delivered through a special handpiece to the targeted area. Treatments are done in our office and take about 30 minutes and the result is immediate. Juvederm contains hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal-clear gel. Unlike other fillers, it is supplied to your doctor in densities. Each one is designed for a specific treatment area. Our physician may use a mixture of densities to help you achieve your desired appearance.
Juvéderm is injected into the skin to create volume, resulting in a healthy and vital appearance. When injected into the lip it can restore a more natural and/or sensuous look. In contrast to other implants, Juvéderm is not extracted from animals. This means that you don’t have to worry about an allergic reaction. Juvéderm is perfectly safe to use instantly without pre-testing.
Fine lines in the forehead, “crow’s feet”, wrinkles between the eyes, on the cheeks and at the corners of the mouth, and deeper wrinkles on the cheeks and chin all respond well to Juvéderm.
